Abstract:

A new principle is proposed for constructing TOF electrode systems of hyperboloid mass analyzers using a universal hyperbolic electrode. The advantage of the proposed designs of mass analyzers is proved. The experimental results of the tripolar mass analyzer manufactured according to the proposed technology are presented.
