Abstract:

The paper considers the model of the drift of the detectors field, which is a tool for processing and analyzing images and video sequences. It is shown that the drift of the detectors field significantly reduces the dimension of the formed multidimensional video signals while preserving their most important structural properties. The developed model forms the basis for mathematical procedures that implement biologically similar methods for analyzing multidimensional video information. The use of the drift mechanism of the detectors field avoids the loss of contours and reduces computational costs by several orders of magnitude.
