The propagation of a plane electromagnetic wave in a multi-parametric environment with varying dielectric properties is reviewed in this publication. We solved the Helmholtz’s equation with the appropriate boundary conditions. The mathematical modeling of the electromagnetic field distribution, as well as of internal heat sources in multilayer parametric environment is conducted. We propose the method for changing the distribution of internal heat sources by means of changing absorption capacity layers. It is shown that the distribution function of internal heat sources on the boundary between two media with different dielectric properties undergoing rupture, leads to local overheating of the material near the border.
