Abstract:

Analytical expressions for calculation of normalized admittance of grid irises in rectangular waveguide are tested. It has been found that these expressions can be adapted for analysis of transmission characteristics of metal gratings with circular and square lamels in free space. Results of investigations are presented for frequency range 75…350 GHz.
