Abstract:

Mathematical models of excitation of waveguide and resonator electrodynamic systems by intensive electron beams are formulated. The models are applicable for the calculation of microwave devices of high power such as traveling-wave tubes and klystron. A distinctive feature of the models is the isolation from the total field in the system of self-non-propagating fields of the electron beam, obeying the Poisson equation.
