Adaptation of notch filters with real weights

Abstract:

The problem of synthesis FIR notch filters with the actual weights, performing adaptive rejection clutter wobble repetition period is considered. Synthesis of optimal weight vector notch filter is based on the extreme properties of eigenvalues of the correlation matrix clutter. The expressions for the actual weight coefficients of the notch filter is obtained. Synthesized algorithms with real weights can significantly simplify the structure of the adaptive notch filter, limiting the scope of its practical use of a range of small Doppler phase clutter. The analysis shows that the proposed algorithm, depending on the parameters of the law and the wobble repetition period provides additional gains in comparison to known fixed algorithms.
