Abstract:

Weather radar signal reflected from the earth and the mountains more than a signal from a thundercloud. For radar is often used waveguide-slot array antenna. The slit is arranged vertically and has allotropic radiation pattern in the azimuth plane. Apply a patch antenna with slots for a narrow radiation pattern. The result is a lower level of the side lobes of the antenna for flying in mountains.
