The detection device of the narrowband signal with the noise level estimation

Abstract:
The article deals with the detection of narrowband radio signal interference with the assessment. Block diagrams of the narrowband signal detection devices with channel estimation noise level for different transmission characteristics, describes the principles and al-gorithms of their work. Describes the differences in these schemes. Dependency diagrams of assessing the level of the signal with varying amplitude of the signal and the noise from the room the accepted time. The analysis of the results obtained. The values of the probability of missing a signal and false alarms. Shown that failure to assess the level of noise leads to a sharp increase in the probability of crossing signal, which can be offset only by an increase in several times the signal/noise ratio.
