Abstract:

The article deals with the task of construction of algorithms for joint synchronization and demodulation of parcels of radio signal with multiposition phase manipulation. The optimal algorithms of decision of this task are built on the basis of maximum likelihood method. A likelihood function is derived from the functional of two-dimensional probability density for the components of the complex envelope of the input process. Power losses at demodulation depend only on errors in the closed algorithms of track after the phase of carrier and delay of modulating function. Unlike the methods widely used in practice the considered algorithms allow to provide reliable synchronization and demodulation without suppression of weak signal noise, that it is especially important in in radio deep space communications.
