A modification of the adaptation method with averaging over a posteriori probability density is proposed. In comparison with the known approach, the adaptation time of the bandwidth is reduced while maintaining the adaptation range of the passband. It can be useful for constructing adaptive servo filters that operate under conditions of uncertain and frequent changes in the intensity of the dynamic effect.
