Abstract:

The algorithm signals reception of orthogonal frequency multiplexing (OFDM) in channels with dispersion and Doppler shift is considered. The offered algorithm is based on processing «in general» on an interval of dispersion of symbol OFDM sequence for the purpose of receiving estimates of maximum likelihood for this sequence with the subsequent making solutions for concerning transferred QAM – symbols according to the classical scheme with use of the FFT technology. The statistical modeling of RGEWDM (reception in general with element-wise decision-making) algorithm processing of OFDM-symbols was done with using Jakes model of channel. This modeling shown high characteristics of a noise immunity in channels with dispersion and Doppler shift.
