Two-loop phase synchronization system with logical sign-modular discriminator

Abstract:
The astatic system of the phase synchronization having two channel phase locked loop, organized on the basis of the logical type digital phase discriminator, generating information on the magnitude and sign of the phase difference of adjustable vibrations is considered. The influence of each of the channels in the frequency control process is analyzed. It is shown that this system with an extremely low steady phase error provides a capture bandwidth, approximately equal to the band of retention. Recommendations on the choice of discriminatory characteristics suppression zones parameters of each of the discriminator channels, allowing to perform the control transfer without conflict between channels in the implementation of the frequency adjustment, are done.
