Long focal-length axially symmetric hyperbolic energy analyzer of charged particles

Abstract:
The present paper has represented a calculation of analytic parameters (energy resolution and luminosity) of the hyperbolic axially symmetric energy analyzer using focusing of the «axis-ring» type with selection gaps in the space of drift in cases of narrow angles of convergence to the trajectory axis of charged particles at the output. The paper has described design features of such energy analyzer and indicated results of its experimental examination.
