Abstract:
The article describes a new combined downhole tool for ore wells logging, capable to produce simultaneous recording of 22 informative parameters with a quantization depth step of 10 cm for one tripping operation in boreholes. Measured parameters: temperature range from 0 to 70°C, three components of the magnetic field in the range of ±80000 nT, magnetic susceptibility from 100 to 200 000∙10−5 SI units, borehole zenith angle from 0° to 60°, borehole magnetic azimuth from 0° to 360°, the apparent resistivity up to 10000 Ω∙m, transient characteristic caused by polarization on eight times after the current pulse turning off from 0 to 80%, natural electric field in the range of ±2500 mV, natural gamma radiation (integral value) from 2 to 100 μR/h. Well-logging complex applied in the instrument provides fairly complete solution of geological problems occurring at various stages of different ore deposit explorations with minimal economic costs.
