Abstract:
We performed the synthesis and analysis of the radio signal detection algorithm with unknown spatio-temporal parameters: duration, amplitude, initial phase, time, and arrival angle. Synthesized maximum likelihood detection algorithm.
We performed the analysis of the detection algorithm. We found asymptotically exact expression for the probability of errors: false alarm and missing signal. The analysis required to find the distribution of the absolute (highest) peak crucial statistics, which is a non-uniform random hearth. We shared a priori the range of possible values of the unknown parameters in the subregion, in which the crucial statistics can be considered locally homogeneous random field and poluchili approximate expression error probability.
As an example the detection of a radio pulse with a Gaussian envelope shape. The effect on the efficiency of detection of a priori ig-norance of the signal parameters.
