Detection of FHSS signals based on the buffered data

Abstract:
Scanning receiver can find a lot of emissions in the analyzed frequency band and it is important to make a decision that received signals are relate to the same signal source. It can be difficult, if transmitter working in the frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) mode. This article analyzes the possibility of detection of FHSS signals by means of scanning receivers, describes the general scheme of the functioning of the FHSS detector, shows procedure for the decision on affiliation of detected radiations to a single signal with frequency hopping.
