The possibility of use as a geophone tiltmeter constructed on the basis gyrostatic effect was considered. Advantages of using transducers of the type described with relative longitudinal displacement transducers are greater dynamic range; no need for the system damping thanks to the gyroscopic effect; the ability to determine the direction of propagation of seismic waves using just one inverter.
