Abstract:
The article deals with the pre-gain of the receiver circuit with a series connection of stages. We present various strategies to incorporate amplifiers, gathered under the scheme common source to minimize intermodulation distortion of the second and third orders. It is shown that the characteristics of «intercept point» (IP2 and IP3) multistage amplifiers do not include additional mechanisms of nonlinear interaction of intermodulation frequencies with the fundamental frequency. Considered balanced inclusion of two-stage amplifiers, which are eliminated at the same time as the intermodulation products of the third order, and even order products. The paper proposed a scheme adaptive to external noise amplifier stage, as well as its implementation in the form layout to verify the simulated data. The experimental results are in line with theoretical calculations within the error of the instrument park.
