Abstract:
The article deals with the generation of wideband radio pulses by shock pulse of the passive element, in which the role of filter or an-tenna can act. The calculation of the input pulse for the classic requirements shows the difficulty of implementing such a system in a portable radio.
The analysis of the excitation pulse shows that an increase of the duration of the input pulse does not lead to significant distortions of the output waveform. Radio pulse energy and conversion efficiency also increase. There is calculated the optimal length for input signal of different shapes: rectangular and close to Gaussian. There is experimental shock pulse, in which efficiency is increased while output waveform is saved.
