Abstract:
Currently, achieving functional electronics and digital signal processing technology have led to the creation of highly informative radar system, using information about the objects of observation, contained in a variety of radar characteristics of objects. At the same time, the existing radar measurement systems built on traditional principles, measurement and study of the characteristics of the desired composition of radar facilities do not provide. The paper proposed to consider the variety of scattering characteristics of objects as a reaction to the radar system on a variety of complex radar signals. It is quite plausible assumption of linearity of the whole process of functioning of the radar system makes it simple to calculate different probing signals of radar characteristics of objects using the principle of superposition. This opens up prospects for improving radar measurement systems. Radar measurement systems of linear scattering characteristics can have a very simple radio-technical units containing real or syn-thesized antenna systems, a vector network and a computer system for processing.
