Abstract:
The article presents a derivation of the equation of a magnetic field of a permanent magnet, as well as based on this equation ma-thematical model of calculating the magnetic field of the focusing system, which takes into account a magnetic field of each separate magnet. The analysis of the adjacent magnets interaction in the magnetic periodic focusing system is given on the example of a system of five permanent magnets. The method of tuning the focusing system based on the proposed mathematical model by means of rearrangement of the magnets is described. It was determined that this method allows one to decrease a number of corrections of magnetic fields of permanent magnets when tuning the MPFS.
