Method of repeated increase in resolution of video systems

Abstract:
One of the main criteria of quality of the optical system creating the image is its resolution capability. High image quality is necessary for incorrect operation of the algorithms of video analytics solving problems of recognition and identification of objects. The method of resolution enhancement of video systems in m of times is offered. The mutual subpixel shift of the image and a light-sensitive surface in adjacent frames is for this purpose used. The first frame shall be created without shift, and then it is necessary to realize m2 − 1 of subpixel shifts of a light-sensitive surface under a opaque surface. Shifts need to be executed sequentially on a vertical and a horizontal every time on value, equal to part m of the corresponding linear size of a light-sensitive element. After each shift create a frame. In total taking into account the first frame m2 of frames will be received. Counting of the increased frame can be defined from the linear equation systems received for all cells of a light-sensitive surface. Advantage of a method is the possibility of resolution enhancement of a video system in m of times by means of one matrix of a CCD.
