Abstract:
The article outlines the issues of constructing and using computing systems «Elbrus», based on multi-core processors «Elbrus-8C», for solving joint processing of information tasks. Here are presented the materials of several universal computing systems, which are represents as a scalable server system with the possibility of obtaining performance up to a few dozens petaflops. Domestic networks, based on computing systems «Elbrus», are comparable in their functionality, performance and reliability with the modern developments of world leaders in this field. The article contains the results of performance evaluation of microprocessor «Elbrus-8C» in comparison with foreign and domestic microprocessors.
