Abstract:
Possibility of practical realization on digital modulator and demodulator of nonorthogonal multifrequency signals is shown. Duration of envelope on each subcarrier exceeds the duration of OFDM signals. Modulator and demodulator of SEFDM signals are based on FFT/IFFT. Experimental units are developed on multiprocessor platform Sundance SMT148FX with cards SMT351, SMT362 и SMT903. These cards contain digital processor, FPGA, ADC/DAC, transceivers and various interfaces. Energy spectrum are results of experimental research. OFDM signals are used for verification systems. Gain on level of out-of-band emissions and occupied frequency bandwidth of SEFDM signals in comparison with OFDM signals is shown by experimental researches.
