Abstract:
The problem of the comparative analysis of the characteristics of the coherent and quadratic low receiver of ultrawideband chaotic radio pulses in the 3-5 GHz frequency band is considered in AWGN channel with multipath propagation. The UWB channel model of IEEE 802.15.43 standard is used. Performance of coherent and no-coherent receiver in the multipath channel is evaluated and it was found that the bit error probability versus the ratio of energy per bit to noise power spectral density for coherent receiver in the multipath channel has no the potential gains that could be have practical significance.
