GNSS receiver interference protection for small-sized equipment

Abstract:
Solution of navigation GNSS receiver structure for interference protection was offered. The solution is suitable for small-sized hardware. The technical solution is based on an asymptotically optimal algorithms for signal detection on a background of non-Gaussian interference. The proposed solution is designed for use in radiofrequency part of the receiver to suppress powerful narrowband and broadband interference. Protection device can be realized by analog means and its implementation does not lead to a significant increase in the size and power consumption of the receiver. That is why the protection device is of the high priority for application in small-sized equipments when the size and power consumption are substantially limited.
