Modeling and performance evaluation of data transmission protocol when using channels due to the large propagation time of the signal

Abstract:
Relevance and necessity of modeling and evaluating the characteristics of the data transfer protocol are determined. The analysis of the shortcomings of the existing duct data transmission in the proposed conditions of specialized applications - use of communication channels with a large propagation time of the signal and low display-indicators of reliability. The concept of data transfer Protocol. Mathematical models of protocols are described. Comparative analysis and performance evaluation of the considered protocols are given. Final part of the article summarizes the findings on the use of model-generated protocol and defines its advantages and disadvantages.
