Differential and integral transformations of test signals

Abstract:
The article «Differential and Integral Tansformations of Model Signals» by Dudin S.A. proposes a new method of the detection and identification of signals of different waveform based on calculating multiple differentials and integrals. The slope of the curves of the coefficients of differential-integral transformations (DIT) of model signals (that are the relations of multiple integrals and differentials dispersions) is suggested by the authors of the mentioned article as a diagnostic parameter. Earlier, in our articles, it was described that this parameter directly depends on the signal length but not on the waveform; that is why additional investigations of the applicability of the suggested method for detecting and identifying signals of different waveform has been carried out. For this purpose, the DIT coefficients for five model signals with different waveforms have been calculated. The results of our investigations show that the high multiple integrating DIT coefficients of model signals of equal lengths but of different waveforms coincide, consequently, the slopes of the curves of these coefficients also coincide, which is indicative of the absolute independence of the method of differential-integral transformations from the waveforms of the initial signals.
