Digital simulator of GPS signals

Abstract:
Building of satellite radio navigation system simulator is described. Basic equations for signal parameters calculation based on signal time concept are given. Particularities of digital data generation for GPS simulator are described. Verification results of GPS simulator software performed with software receiver are mentioned. Hardware GPS simulator prototype is described. Prototype-s structure of digital and analogue parts is given. Architectural benefits of suggested structure are listed. Results of comparison with Keysight N5172B simulator for GPS signals are mentioned.
