Abstract:
In recent years, a new trend in the theory and technology of electronic system is the use of ultra-wideband signals (UWBS). Early was found characteristics quasilikelihood reliable estimates arrival time UWBS unknown form under the influence of narrow-band in-terference. However, these results can be used only in absence of abnormal errors. In this paper we determine the probability of abnormal error and threshold characteristics quasilikelihood assessment, which allow making an informed choice of the form and parameters of the expected signal, depending on the available a priori information and the allowable loss in reliability assessment UWBS arrival time.
