Model of fault-tolerant multipath adaptive routing with load balancing of heterogeneous traffic in communication networks

Abstract:
At the present day actual area of research are development of models and methods of ensuring the sustainability of communication network in the course of impact on communication system of different destabilizing factors. Providing high-speed and reliable data transmission between the nodes of communication networks under stringent requirements of delay data transmission during possible failures nodes and communication links is one of the most important problems. Model of fault-tolerant multipath adaptive routing with load balancing of heterogeneous traffic in the course of impact on communication system of different destabilizing factors which increases quality of services of networks requests and applications is offered in article. It also ensuring performance and reliability of data transmission based on additional data about the backup routes. The mathematical model takes into account, existing in communications network a heterogeneous traffic, and performs load balancing in the traffic channels on the basis of data of the backup routes. It ensures compliance with the quality of service requirements of the network application due to the calculation of indicators on the average transmission delay in the channels communication and evaluation of packet jitter. Software of process modeling routing in communication networks, confirming the validity of the proposed mathematical model and characterize the effectiveness of the proposed approach in comparison with existing analogues is developed.
