Abstract:
A survey of Satcom-on-the-Move (SOTM) antennas is presented. Antennas of three classes are considered: systems with two-dimensional mechanical scanning, systems with two-dimensional electrical scanning, and systems with combined scanning (mechanical in azimuth and electrical in elevation). Characteristics, declared by the manufacturers are presented. Development trends of SOTM antennas are drawn.
