Abstract:
According to approaches discussed in [1-3] that evaluate the state of a radio communication link it is treated as the target of radio suppression when sending a message from an information source to its recipient. The said approaches ignore information feedback as the means to restore and transfer a message with the allowable level of information loss (the required information integrity). It has been established that the factors for estimating the state of radio communication links with information feedback and without it differ. The conclusion has been drawn that in order to make a decision for transferring a message with the probability value not less than the standard one the recipient needs to ensure that both the requirements to signal energy and to message acquisition timeliness are fully met. In this case it is essential to fulfill requirements for two factors, namely, the probability of message transfer with the allowable level of relative information loss and message transfer (reception) period in the presence of jamming that must be less or equal to the period of message acquisition timeliness. A formal approach has been proposed to estimating a radio communication link with information feedback by the probability of message transfer and consistency between the message transfer period and the information operational value provided the wanted amount of information is transferred. The results of evaluation have been represented in graphical form.
