Abstract:
Design considerations of fiber-optic analog signal distribution system for active phased antenna array with directly modulation laser link is proposed. The structural configurations of one-stepped and two-stepped distribution system, electro-optic and optic-electro convertor modules are considered. The distribution system using presented modules has own spectral density of phase noise power -147??148.81 dBc/Hz for offsets more 80 kHz. The distribution system provides minimal distortion of radar signals due to 20 dB lower phase noise than requirements for signals characteristics.
