The efficiency estimation of the super-directed receiving digital antenna arrays at HF-range

Abstract:
The paper purpose is to maximize a signal/noise ratio of the receiving digital HF-antenna array in case of the given antenna-s dimension restrictions and errors of a radiators currents distribution creation. To reach this purpose it being required to solve following problems: 1. The analysis of application and realization opportunity of a super-directivity mode by digital HF-antenna arrays. 2. To create algorithm, which will enable to calculate weight coefficients for an HF-antenna array in a super-directivity mode in case, when errors of an array current distribution, which provide a signal/noise ratio maximum, are established. 3. To simulate a super-directivity mode in an HF-antenna array by computer code based on this algorithm. It is shown, that the super-directivity mode can be realized in digital HF-antenna arrays. In this case the maximum of a signal/noise ratio (antenna directivity) depends on the total number of its elements and errors of a current distribution realization in radiators of an array.
