Model image compression code quantization and restoring them in lexicographical lists

Abstract:
In modern network technology plays a special role of image compression methods. It is believed that in such systems, it is advisable to use the procedure of loss compression, which provides the best performance of network resources. The disadvantage of this method is the compulsory transfer of the codebook using the receiver that restores the compressed image. If the codebook size is large, it is necessary to transmit a quantized values, which negatively affects the image compression. The challenge is to use list decoding with minimum time loss define a code vector and further on it to restore the image element. This paper considers vector quantization procedure and the subsequent recovery of the code vector through the use of the properties of systematic codes opportunity to be represented in the form of clusters being searched for using the lexicographic method.
