Abstract:
In this paper, the synthesis of the linear estimation algorithm of information parameters of OFDM signal received at presence of noise and interference was carry out. For the algorithm synthesis the criterion of minimum average values of the no conditional variances of information parameters estimates is proposed to use. This approach does not require knowledge of the distribution function of bandpass interference. Also, we have shown that the use of the proposed criterion in the case Gaussian noise leads to efficient estimates of information parameters .
The characteristics of the proposed linear algorithm were obtained. It is shown, that considered linear interference cancellation algorithm can significantly improve the estimation accuracy of OFDM signal information symbols at the presence of bandpass interference. Also it is shown that the simplest exclusion from consideration of subcarrier frequencies are closest to the frequency of the interference does not allow to reduce enough the effect of this interference in the other frequency channels, if interference suppression algorithm is not used. In other words, the implementation of the proposed algorithm provides the gain in accuracy of information symbols estimates also in the case of discarding the subcarriers most affected by noise.
