Abstract:
Analysis of contemporary and promising approaches of fighting doctrines allows pointing out several basic directions of development military equipment that predetermine development of future airborne warning and control systems of new generation as both an important mobile node of information networks and control node.
The goal of the article is to study trends of theoretical research that are required for substantiating the conceptual design of control systems of future airborne early warning and control system.
Among these trends are advancement of mathematical apparatus of group control; using multiposition design concept; information support for new types of targets (such as unmanned aerial vehicles and hypersonic aircrafts).
The large amount of operating modes of AEW&C systems requires new algorithms of control of information flow with regard to electromagnetic compatibility.
Therefore, development of future AEW&C systems of new generation is a very intricate scientific and technical challenge, which requires enormous labour, financial and material resources. Its solution should rely on copious theoretical apparatus, in terms of which new ways of designing control and information processing systems must be defined.
