The analyzer of OFDM-signals of IEEE 802.11a/g/n standards

Abstract:
The algorithms for receiving and processing of IEEE 802.11a signals are considered. The algorithms of detection, time and frequency synchronization, channel estimation and symbols demodulation are described. The analyzer of IEEE 802.11a/g/n signals is submitted. The analyzer based on the digital radio receiver ARGAMAK-IS. The analyzer is intended for receiving of IEEE 802.11a/g/n signals, estimation of their parameters and extraction of the broadcasting information. The analyzer consists of a hardware and program parts. The hardware part provides a signal filtration on intermediate frequency, signal carrying over on video frequency, signal resampling on demanded samples frequency, short training sequence detection and coarse frequency offset. The software part carries out fine time and frequency synchronization, channel estimation, symbols demodulation, deinterleaving, Viterbi decoding, descrambling, CRC checking and extraction information from MAC-header. The basic functionality of the developed analyzer is resulted.
