Abstract:
Telecommunication systems and data communication in the modern life are very important. TC is widely used in all spheres of human activity-TV, radio broadcasting, satellite communications systems, the global network Internet, cellular communication systems, etc.
With time, the role of information in human life has become a more important position. In the information transmission via communication channels, background information is distorted, that is, in the transmitted message appears in the error. The appearance of errors in the message is different reasons, such as noise or because of failure of the receiving or the sending of the equipment.
Currently there are a large number of codes with a high coefficient of the error correction. Turbo-coder is one of the best methods to construct random code of large length. When decoding coded block can be decomposed into two code block. This circumstance allows to use two decoder, each of which performs decoding of your code block. The decoded information from the output of the first decoder is used as a priori information for the second decoder to clarify the decoding. Such an operation can be performed repeatedly. This is the principle of turbo decoding.
Currently turbo coding is developing intensively in the systems of satellite communications, broadband wireless access and digital television. Development of the platform on which implemented this type of error correcting coding, is an important and promising step to creation of a competitive domestic radio communication systems.
Turbo codes have a high energy efficiency, therefore, they are used in communication systems of military purpose to increase the reception range, stealth system, and survivable radio systems low-energy potential.
