Abstract:
Effective detection of moving objects in the periphery of the field of vision and determination of the motion parameters is particularly important in the processing of video sequences. Such objects are usually not observed in the previous frame. They may be close enough to the photo detector. Therefore, their occurrence and identification require rapid decision-making by mobile systems.
The interframe differences of phase-energy responses are most effective for movement detection on the edges of the image. These provide the best probability for detection of parameters, especially in extremely low light and high levels of noise. The analytical expressions for the creation of peripheral vision's algorithms are received.
