The article describes the implementation of dual-band antenna system based on a single-dish antenna axisymmetric and specially designed transducer, allowing for the work in two frequency bands. Especially for this antenna was designed dual-band feed, which provides the desired characteristics in a given frequency range. Additionally compared with foreign counterparts antenna, made by MDA (Canada). The analysis of the characteristics of the two antennas has shown that developed in the JSC "ISS altimeter antenna is not inferior to foreign analogues, but in some ways surpasses it.
