Parameter estimation and demodulation of radiosignals in prior uncertainty conditions

Abstract:
In article the method of an estimation of parameters and demodulation of radio signals in the conditions of prior uncertainty which is based on application of two-stage processing of the received signal at which at the first stage continuous wavelet-transformation of a signal is applied to determination of symbolical speed of information transfer at digital modulation, and also definitions of the moments of transition of parameters of a signal is considered. Analysis of different methods of signal parameter estimation is carried out. Research of maximum-likelihood method usage efficiency in case of different prior information about unknown signal parameters (amplitude, initial phase, frequency) availability is executed. Algorithms, which is realized the developed method, is created. Modeling of signal with digital modulation parameter estimation algorithm is carried out, possibility of type modulation definition and signal demodulation in absence of prior information on signal parameters is demonstrated. Usage possibility of the developed method under white Gaussian noise action at signal-to-noise ratio of 5 dB is demonstrated.
