Analysis of informative thermal image based on the model space - frequency transform

Abstract:
Recently expanded the scope of thermal imaging technology in the construction of security systems.Thermal imagerswere used to create effective biometric systems for remote detection of changes of psychophysiological state faces. Optimizing data channels feature space has led to a necessity to improve thermal image processing algorithm. Analysis methods for the isolation boundaries of the object revealed a number of shortcomings. These methods do not take into account the peculiarities of the distribution of energy within the informative area. As a model of an object with a non-uniform brightness was used a circle, within which the brightness of the normal distribution. The resulting spatial spectra showed that the uneven nature of the distribution of brightness within the circle there is a shift of energy spectrum in the upper region of spatial frequencies. The present model allows us to estimate the contribution of different factors in the image formed by the range and the redistribution of power spectral components for informative region in the case of non-uniform nature of the intensity of the thermal radiation background component image.
