Multicriteria optimization of adaptive information transfer system

Abstract:
The paper presents an approach that allows to realize a selection of the parameters of adaptive information transmission system, which provides the highest efficiency of its operation. As the variable parameters are the symbol information rate, error-correcting coding redundancy, capacity of modulation symbol, the power output of the signal. The criteria on which the performance evaluation was carried out of the system is the average message delivery time, the signal/noise ratio at the receiver input intelligence electronic warfare systems of the opposing side, the probability of receiving a wrong bit. To improve the efficiency AITS encouraged to apply the method of multi-objective optimization in the design phase. Optimization, based on the aggregate quality criteria are encouraged to implement one of the proposed grid search methods by using Sobol-Statnikov search or by searching via integer parameters. Each of these methods provides a set of solutions, non-dominated with respect strict preference, thus to estimate the values of variable parameters under which the AITS will be Pareto optimal. Selection of such solutions for designing allows to achieve the result, that in the adaptive process parameter changes during operation of the system, it will be effective at any time. Thus, increasing overall efficiency AITS. The results of the calculations and graphical dependencies obtained through the implementation of the proposed approaches in the form of a computer program are presented. A comparative analysis of the methods of computing performance and results are presented.
