In work the analysis of possibilities of functioning of radio-frequency identification (RFID) system with radio-frequency tags (RFT) on surface acoustic waves (SAW) in structure of the ASM information system of RZHD network is carried out. Advantage of application of this system to increase of reliability of identification and management of transportation of cargoes on a railway transportation is proved. The way of formation of complex indicators of quality and competitiveness of RFID systems with RFT on SAW on the basis of set of quantitative, qualitative criteria and the criteria set by intervals of the values is offered. It is shown, that the grouping of set of private indicators on functional, special, economic and constructive groups promotes reception of more authentic results of an integrated estimation of RFID system with RFT on SAW. The multimodel approach based on a purposeful choice of model from base of models depending on a situation taking into account quantity and quality of the initial information is applied to the decision of a problem of formation and a choice of variants of RFID systems with RFT on SAW on a railway transportation.
