Method of trajectory control of airplane in horizontal plane during fly-around static danger area

Abstract:
Hazardous weather conditions in airspace require implementation of algorithms which makes it possible to correct airplane trajectory during fly-around of these areas. Areas with hazardous weather conditions are described by certain constraints. Proposed method of description of these areas and model of airplane motion makes it possible to write out formulae for components of the velocity vector. On basis of those vector components a formula for the corrected heading was obtained. Conditions for start and end of this algorithm were defined. An example of airplane trajectory during fly-around of an area with hazardous weather conditions was showed.
