Abstract:
The possibilities of simultaneously improving combat effectiveness, survivability and informativeness of guidance systems based on the multi-position systems are studied. Different variants of airborne and airphibian multi-position guidance systems (MPGS) which use semi-active and passive modes of radar are given. Advantages of MPGS are marked, as well as the complexity of their implementation, which to some extent limit design and implementation of such guidance systems.
