Algorithm of Measurement of Range to the Helicopter in the Coherently-Pulse Onboard Radar

Abstract:
Algorithms of detection and measurement of co-ordinates of air objects in coherently-pulse radar, as a rule, are optimised for processing of the signals reflected from a glider of a flying machine. These algorithms have the greatest efficiency at supervision of the reflected signal in free from stirring reflexions from a spreading surface to a spectrum zone. In these conditions an overall performance coherently-pulse radar on air objects of a class the helicopter essentially decreases. It is caused by that they as a rule, are applied at extremely small heights and in a wide range of speeds of flight, including a hovering mode. Use of a signal with high frequency of repetition of impulses does not allow to make detection of a glider component of a signal from the helicopter in a hovering mode, but allows to find out the components of signals reflected from its blades. Application of this mode becomes complicated several factors for which overcoming methods of updating of existing algorithms of measurement of range are offered. In article results of modelling of the offered algorithms, their characteristics and the recommendation about their use are resulted.
