Abstract:
The algorithms of space-time signal processing providing measurement of range and angular coordinates of moving targets in short-range radars with antenna array using short pulse ultra-wide band probing signals are developed.
The target is radiated by the antenna with wide radiating pattern. The beam forming to provide angular measurements is performed using digital processing of the signals received by different channels of antenna array and sampled by stroboscopic transformer.
The results of mathematical modeling are presented as well as results of experimental testing with a prototype. These results show that proposed models and algorithms could be used for the implementation of the radars providing monitoring of moving objects behind of radio-transparent barriers.
